Context-reduced language refers to communication where there are few clues about the meaning of the communication apart from the words themselves. The language is likely to be abstract and academic. Examples: textbook reading, classroom lecture.

Маємо необхідність поповнити українську мову новим терміном, практично відсутнім у слов'янських мовах (див., наприклад, дискусію www.proz.com/kudoz/.../3679127-context_embedded_language.ht... Між тим, близькі терміни вже зафіксовані навіть у деяких словниках:

context-dependent контекстно-залежний, контекстний (про граматику, правило, перетворення)
context-free grammar контекстно-вільна (бесконтекстна) граматика, КВ-граматика
context-free language контекстно-вільна мова
context-sensitive див context-dependent
context-sensitive constraint контекстне обмеження
context-sensitive grammar контекстно-залежна (контекстна) граматика

Аналіз цих термінів веде до висновку, що всі вони, як і англійські оригінали, скоріш номінативні, ніж тлумачні. А це означає, що перекладати їх може (і буде) всяк по-своєму, аж доки стихійно не утвердиться якийсь сталий варіант. Поки що можна запропонувати два варіанти перекладу: "безконтекстна мова" і "контекстно-обмежена мова" (оскільки, формально кажучи, context-reduced може означати й "з видаленим контекстом; позбавлена контексту", і "з обмеженим контекстом, з обмеженим впливом контексту").
Перший варіант уже зафіксований (див. словник вище, context-free), отож залишається ввести "контекстно-обмежену" мову. Тлумачення (смисл) цього терміну все одно необхідне - так само, як і англійського.
