Reference: Refs. Reference information: **Fabric count: ** It is measured by counting the number of threads contained in one square inch of fabric or one square centimeter, including both the length (warp) and width (weft) threads. What is the density of fabric? Fabric density helps explain the thickness of textile products. It is a measurement that provides the base weight of the fabric, given as a value of grams per square metre. https://textilelearner.blogspot.com/2013/07/textile-calculat... **How to calculate the density of the fabric - Lace Fabricwww.bestlacefabric.com › info › how-to-calculate-the-... https://www.bestlacefabric.com/info/how-to-calculate-the-den... How to calculate the density of the fabric? The density of fabrics refers to the number of warp or weft yarns that the fabric has per unit length. Density is divided into warp density and weft density. The measurement method is commonly used in China: the number of yarns in the 1 inch (2.54 cm) length. For example, the warp density of a piece of fabric is 128 inches / inch, and the density of the weft yarn is 60 inches / inch. When writing, it is indicated by density and weft density, that is, 128 x 60.
