Well, the aircraft is a 1956 Autocar, Auster Autocar, and it’s pretty well always been in the South East of England, and this type of aircraft was used as an air taxi for crop spraying, Ordnance Survey work, and the flying doctor service, and general bush flying in the colonies where you needed to travel long distances, and good performance for hot and high air performance.
