Pravni tekst je u pitanju a kontekst se odnosi na prijave PDV-a, i sad tu postoji taj VAT identification number koji bi na srpskom mogao biti poreski identifikacioni broj (tako piše na Vikipediji https://sr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poreski_identifikacioni_broj ali nisam sigurna koliko je ovo validan izvor).

Daryo Jan 9, 2016: VAT systems are not totally identical in every country, so there is no point looking at the VAT system in Serbia if you don't check FIRST the VAT system in the country the text is about. What country is this text about? "VAT number" should be just the abbreviated version of "VAT identification number" (it is for sure in UK) - it's a number given by the tax authorities for the purpose of collecting VAT - not much variants possible about that. But nothing stops a country from using this same "identification number" for some other or all other taxes, so there is no point rushing in making "equivalences" between systems. If you look at the forms used for administering the VAT system in Serbia, the ID number used is called "Poreski identifikacioni broj (PIB)" BUT in Serbia it's an ID number used for ALL taxes: "Poreski identifikacioni broj (PIB) (енгл. tax identification number) je jedinstveni i jedini broj fizičkog lica, preduzetnika i pravnog lica koji se koristi u poreskom postupku i platnom prometu, za sve javne prihode. ..." https://sr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poreski_identifikacioni_broj But was is relevant is the system in the country the text is about.

NAPOMENA:
Ne mislim da su VAT identification number i VAT number isti! Naveo sam primjer, samo da pokažem kako u tom prijevodu PDV stoji na početku, a ne na kraju izraza.

NAPOMENA: Naveo sam 2 srpska izvora iz kojeg se vidi da se izraz vjerojatno ne samo koristi kod "suseda" nego očito i u srpskim dokumentima. Pozdrav!

U dodatnoj poruci koju ste poslali ne radi se o istom terminu. Ovde je u pitanju VAT identification number, a ne VAT number. Nisam sigurna da je u pitanju ista stvar.

Hvala, PDV identifikacioni broj se izgleda koristi kod naših suseda, ali me zanima da li postoji i u srpskom zakonodavstvu. Za sada nailazim samo na poreski identifikacioni broj (PIB), kao u prvom primeru koji ste naveli http://www.poreskauprava.gov.rs/sr/pravna-lica/pregled-propisa/pravilnici/127/pravilnik-o-poreskom-identifikacionom-broju-.html.

PIB (tax identification number) and PDV broj (VAT number) are two different things. Every business has PIB, but only those who are in VAT system get additional PDV broj.

VAT = Value Added Tax

PDV = Porez na dodatu vrednost

PIB = TIN

Wrong word order in Serbian, the other suggestion.

You can often see translation: XXX model, or YYY type, it's: model XXX, type YYY.

And PDV already has *Porez* in acronym, therefore *poreski* should not be in answer, *Poreski* capitalized particularly not.

Onaj ko nije u sistemu PDV-a ne obracunava i ne placa PDV na svoje izlazne fakture ali nema pravo ni da odbije PDV po svojim ulaznim fakturama za robu, troskove itd.

Ako je firma u sistemu PDV-a onda od poreske uprave uz PIB dobija i PDV broj (to je taj EPPDV broj broj evidencione prijave za PDV) koji se pise na fakturama, a neko pise i na memorandumima itd.
