| Reference: Horizontal division of the property Reference information: The horizontal division of the property is an act recorded in a public deed by means of which the property is divided into different independent registered real estates with the assignment to each of them of a co-ownership or participation ratio with respect to the entire property. The horizontal division is registered in the Property Registry. In this way, a community of owners is established by the horizontal property regime, consisting of a series of units (houses, commercial premises, storage units, garages, etc.) that are defined as separate property.
