На просторах интернета нашла такой перевод: "Я стремился понять Павла в его Послании к Римлянам. Но мешали мне в этом не столько замерзшие ноги, сколько одна фраза из 1–й главы: "В нем открывается правда Божья".
Про замерзшие ноги явный перегиб.
