Priming Procedure




Make sure that the machine is empty. There should be no cartons, product, or packages in the machine

To Prime the Machine

1. Close all the guard doors.

2. Clear any faults.

3. At the main control panel, press the RESET
button.

4. Press the PRIME button on the Machine Maintenance Screen.

The vacuum and blower motors are turned on.

5. Press the RESET button.

The Infeed conveyor automatically turns on and moves the cans to the lane line stop gates.

6. Inspect loading area and check for down cans inside the lanes.

7. After pressing the AUTO button:

The machine feeds cartons into the flights. During this time the PLC verifies that cartons are being picked and setup properly.

W kilku patentach dotyczących przenoszenia kartonów flights to umieszczone wzdłuż przenośnika elementy, które oddzielają od siebie kartony, a jednocześnie popychają. Bardzo niepewnie, ale można też pójść tropem przenośników zgrzebłowych (flight-bar conveyour), stosowanych np. w górnictwie. Tam element popychający/przenoszący nazywa się zgrzebłem. Zgrzebła w zastosowaniach górniczych mogą wyglądać np. tak:

agree  Adrian Liszewski: Dokładnie tak, również flights to zwoje ślimaka w przenośniku ślimakowym. Pytająca wybierze tę opcję albo musi opracować swój termin, bardziej pasujący do konstrukcji danego przenośnika.
