OK. If it is a continuous run, then cutting will get rid of the blister. I am used to seeing biscuit- shaped hardwood inserts in place of panel flaws. Thank you for the explanation.
Yes, exactly, now I am 100% positive its a cross cut @Marcin Don't you happen to be able to help me with my another question regarding pre-scratcher saw?
I think they are removed with cross cuts. It seems like the production line operates in such a way so as to produce a continuous piece of board which is then cut to size first by trimming the sides and then by cutting across. Crosswise is the stage when removing blisters takes place. Imagine that blisters are located in the middle of the board. In that case, lengthwise trimming will not eliminate defects. Also, cross cutting can eliminate blisters no matter their location on the board, be it side or centre. In this manner at least the width stays always the same.
Bardzo dziękuję za pomoc, a i ostatni zalinkowany dokument rozjaśnia mi wiele innych kwestii! Proszę o podanie propozycji tłumaczenia terminu, a przyznam Panu punkty.
Page 538: https://books.google.pl/books?id=Kn_RBQAAQBAJ&pg=PA358&lpg=P... Jeśli to ma sens, to ta piłę można nazwać piła odcinająca, przycinająca. Albo formatyzerka, piła tnie płytę po sprasowaniu do odpowiednich wymiarów, pozbywając się jednocześnie blistrów.
"blister saw for cutting the panels" - here, "the" is totally inappropriate (wrong), which casts doubt on the correctness of the term "blister saw" itself. Blister is a defect in a panel - a localized delamination, ungluing of layers/plies.
No chyba że jednak istnieje blister saw
@Frank DOKŁADNIE- sprawdziłem też na stronach niemieckich. Najprawdopodobniej chodzi o rodzaj opakowania.
"Blister" in saw blister may refer to the type of packaging for the product. blis·ter pack (noun) a type of packaging in which a product is sealed in plastic, often with a cardboard backing

A transparent, molded piece of plastic, often sealed to a sheet of cardboard, used to package and display an item of merchandise. Also called bubble pack. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/blister pack
