Hi,
This is from a Warhammer game text:
Bullets and shotte made out of silver are not cheap – especially when they are also inscribed with runes of arcane warding against the Undead.
Thanks
Gisella

Fabp
: la forma corretta in italiano per indicare le sfere con cui si possono caricare i fucili da caccia dovrebbe essere "pallini".

Reference:
I found (in the first link) an old definition of "shot" in middle english dictionary, which shows the form "shot(t)e". It could be "proiettili" o anche "pallini" (this is the correct form in italian).
In the second URL i found an image of toy soldier arrangement showing this word.
Hope this was helpful.
