Από τη στιγμή που μπαίνει η αρθρίτιδα στη μέση, υπάρχει και θέμα ερμηνείας του αγγλικού. Είναι θέμα κεφιού (χόρευαν κοιμήσικα) ή χόρευαν σαν τον Μάικλ Τζάκσον στα ζομπικά του;

On the dance floor half a dozen couples were throwing themselves around with the reckless abandon of a night watchman with arthritis. Most of them were dancing cheek to cheek, if dancing is the word. The men wore white tuxedos and the girls wore bright eyes, ruby lips, and tennis or golf muscles. One couple was not dancing cheek to cheek. The guy was too drunk to keep time and the girl was too busy not getting her pumps walked on to think of anything else.
