Ohne Kontext ist es müßig, über mögliche Übersetzungen zu diskutieren, weil der kurze Satz je nach Kontext mindestens 48 verschiedene Bedeutungen haben kann – neben den vielen bereits genannten Vorschlägen wären zum Beispiel auch „Liegt ihr vorne?/Führt ihr?“ (wenn während eines Spiels nach dem derzeitigen Spielstand gefragt wird), „Alles fit?“ (wenn es im Sinne von „How's it going?“ gemeint ist) oder vieles andere denkbar.<br><br>Vielleicht geht es in der Ansprache vorher ja auch darum, was Gewinnen eigentlich heißt (z.B. in der Art „Wer ehrlich spielt, ist ein Gewinner. Wer dem Gegner nach einem Sturz auf die Beine hilft, ist ein Gewinner. Wer auch nach einer Niederlage fair und sportlich bleibt, ist ein Gewinner. Und? Seid ihr Gewinner?“).

In English "Are you winning?" works if it means "Do you currently win the competitions that you enter?"

My guess is that the speech could go on to say something like "If not, is it because you don't have the right attitude?" - although that is 100% guesswork. My point there is that it is essential to know whether you need to retain the question format - and if in doubt, you do have to make it a question, especially as it is a question in all the other languages.

sure but how can you be "en train de gagner" if you are not on the playing field? We have to know the original language, because the others can be incorrect translations.

"Werdet Ihr gewinnen?" is future - the other languages, and particularly the French, are present continuous.

"Werdet ihr gewinnen?" would be the literal translation, also in view of the Italian + French versions. Question is: Is it really a question? Or is it: you will win! In English, a question is not necessarily a question but can be s.th. affirmative. So: what is the original language?

This one just can't be answered without context, because the English can mean two different things (or may be a pun on the two different meanings) - it can mean literally "Do you win the competitions you enter?" or alternatively "Are you on top of things?"/"Are you making progress?" Presumably you have the sentence on either side of this that would shed light on the matter.
And presumably the speech follows on with some soft of answer, so this has to be a question in the German as well as in the English.
