Tout dépend du contexte. Que représente le mot « waste » ici ? Je pense qu'il s'agit de résidus de coupure?

En tout état cause, il semble que ces [déchets|résidus||rebus] voyage sur un tapis roulant jusqu'au mécanisme d'adsorption (par exemple un aimant pour les déchets métalliques).

« waste edge » serait « surface des résidus » ?
