first element in this list:

"MedTech Europe Code"

The ONLY "MedTech Europe Code" you can find is

The MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice

see: https://www.google.com/search?q="MedTech Europe Code"

As an additional cross-check, THAT kind of "code" could be used by a company as input to formulate some "politique applicable", so it passes the "internal coherence test" with flying colors ....

So the next element(s) MUST BE about some other "codes" that could also contribute to formulating various "politiques applicables"

A list of numbers / classification codes to be another source to be used for the same purpose? Would love to know HOW? Maybe something along the lines of:

"Our company policy for this year will be based on "721214 Recreational and Vacation Camps (except Campgrounds", a significant shift from our previous policy based on "482111 Line-Haul Railroads"

sure, it makes perfect sense ... at least grammatically.

What does make sense, for a pharmaceutical company operating in many countries, is to adapt their company policies to the various "ethical codes" of each country where it operates.

few more nails in the coffin of the "Codes SCIAN (Système de classification des industries de l'Amérique du Nord)" nonsense:

How on earth would a classification of activities in North America (of ALL imaginable activities, not only those related to the pharmaceutical industry) fit in this list?

strictly speaking it could also be reduced to:

"Codes de conduite" nationaux (/de différents pays) applicable au secteur (pharmaceutique)

but even when the "éthique" part is not explicitly stated, all various "Codes de conduite" are always about how to make an industry sector "well behaved".

disagree  Daryo: surely is the first "result" thrown at you by Google, only "small detail": it makes no sense - how would THAT translate into "politiques applicables" ??? and be IN THE SAME LIST with "The MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice"??

disagree  Drmanu49: I think you are misinterpreting code in this case.

-> no, you are! The"internal coherence of a text" as a concept in linguistics, rings a bell? or it's just a nuisance, same as "context"? "une liste de politiques applicables" that includes a nomenclature of classification codes - makes sense to you?
