Furniture / Household Appliances / Part of a porch light
English term or phrase: STEEPLE
DETERMINE THE SIZE OF THE STEEPLE ON THE TOP OF YOUR EXISTING OUTSIDE PORCH LIGHT.

I believe that "steeple" is not the correct word to refer to the top part of an outdoor porch light, as "steeple" normally refers to the top of a church tour.

I am looking for the correct term to use for the top of a sconce type porch light in French.
