This is a description of a toilet. Does anybody know what a "water spot" is in this context ? "The bowl-jet creates a "push" and the siphon motion creates a "pull"; in-turn evacuating all contents which preserves the water level and spot."

agree  Tony M: Yes, though that's not really the whole story: the 'spot' is actually the surface shape / area of the water left in the pan, which clearly depends on the water level and the tapered form of the pan.
