English term or phrase: this fulcrum of the Antichristian monster will fall down into rubbish
Texte sur l'alchimie, 17e siècle

George Starkey (aka Eirenaeus Philalethes) was fervently opposed to the commercial society that was developing around him. He detested the kind of power that money conferred and believed that private property and money served to undermine morality and religion in dangerous ways. To that effect, he was interested in the multiplication of gold only in order to dismantle the entire monetary mechanism. Starkey wrote, “I hope and expect that after a few more years money will be common, and this fulcrum of the Antichristian monster will fall down into rubbish, for the populace goes mad, and whole races are insane to have this useless weight rather than God. Will this not attend our imminent and so long expected redemption?

Merci d'avance

this fulcrum of the antichristian monster will fall down into rubbish
ce support de l'Antechriste s'effrondrera

Explanation:

2. any prop or support.
