neutral  Daryo: close, but not quite right - HERE in this ST the food wouldn't be "taken away" by the client (by the person having a "smart home" installed at home), but by some delivery service and then delivered to the home address of the client.

What they call "the smart home" is a kind of computer system controlling all sort of devices in the home.

What they are saying is that with this "smart home" computer system you could use voice commands to "order a take-away" from a shop doing home deliveries of food and drinks, you won't need to phone them or order through their website.

It's a variant on "home shopping" - shopping from home - using voice commands.


Many fast-food outlets and some restaurants offer "takeaways" i.e. "taking your food and drink out of the premises / out the shop", instead of consuming it on the premises.

the text is written from the viewpoint of the user of the "smart home" system.

From the viewpoint of the one sitting in their own home it's a "home delivery"

From the view-point of the shop and anyone collecting the food in the shop it's a "take-away"

The perspective / viewpoint makes a difference.

As a parallel, exactly the same contract will be seen either as "selling" or "buying" depending on the viewpoint from where you look at it ...
