Met deze schakelaar kunt u de staalkabels op- of *aflieren*. Bij het *aflieren* dient u erop te letten dat er altijd minimaal twee slagen van de staalkabel om de draadrol blijven zitten. Tijdens het oplieren dient u erop te letten dat het kabeloog van de staalkabel niet tussen draadrol en rubberrol terecht komt, dit om beschadigingen te voorkomen. Wanneer de container van een juist geplaatste slotbalk is voorzien, (zoals voorgeschreven) zal het oplieren automatisch stoppen.
