It is certainly nothing to do with any counters because this is a commercial contract concerning the provision of medical devised and related maintenance services. However, I realise I was not sufficiently specific when asking the question. Ultimately, I left it at BTC. Thanks for your help!

  -> Because: 1. of content of my explanation and ref; 2. field is pharma; 3. asker excluded 'Business To Consumer'; 4. OTC common usage in field - use of related acronym likely; 5. BTC actually has this meaning in pharma.
disagree  Richard Purdom: why would Dutch use a non-existent English acronym? You should change your certainty to level 2 at the most! Gut-feeling and no references (yours has no mention of manager) is not enough!

  -> (a) It's not non-existent - see URL reference. (b) OTC is used in Dutch - as is BTC, as Business to Consumer, why not BTC in the provided sense as well? (c) + Gut feel after 20 yrs of Dutch marketing...
