Papercup is on a mission to make the world's videos watchable in any language! We do this by automating large parts of video localisation and dubbing using AI to do the heavy lifting. However, one of our key differentiators is our human-in-the-loop model where professional translators quality check every word that’s been localised to ensure utmost accuracy.
We are currently in the process of expanding our pool of Freelance Localisation Specialists (LS), and are looking for people with an audiovisual translation background in the English to French language pair. Our Localisation Specialists are part of our team working on the production of localised videos via AI dubbing.
Our Localisation Specialists handle a number of key aspects of our localisation workflow, including:
- Reviewing & optimising the English transcription against the English source video
- Post-editing & optimising the machine translation and adapting it for dubbing/VO
- Selecting & optimising the AI-generated voices to ensure they match the English source video
