Hi All,
I am translating a document on basin organisation management, and I would appreciate some advice on tackling this term as I am not a Maths expert. The section in question discusses calculating expected rainfall and the effect on water levels. It appears in the text as follows:
"Se da algún caso en que actuaciones diseñadas en aquella época han quedado sobredimensionadas y otras previsiones efectuadas han resultado excesivamente optimistas. Por ello es muy importante la selección de las series de cálculo."
The only way I can think to translate this is "calculation series", but having investigated on the internet, it doesn't look like a term that comes up very often.
Could anyone give any advice, or point me in the right direction?
