diploma thesis
"Diploma work" is also used, but it is in my opinion more colloquial.
"Undergraduate dissertation" is used in the UK, (see Electras example phrase)
for a work at a lower leem. A diploma thesis in greek and other european universities is a piece of (guided) scientific work that produces (or at least aims to produce) new scientific results.

I still thank the Gods, "leem" does not mean anything more embarassing than low energy electron microscopy :P
