Denn man mußte damit rechnen, daß Peter drastische Maßnahmen ergriff, wenn offenbar wurde, daß die Vorkehrungen, die zu Gerds Vorteil getroffen waren, unterlaufen wurden.

unterlaufen wurden!?! No sentido de hintergehen?

Tb nao entendo bem o tempo do verbo usado em "getroffen waren", nao teria de ser getroffen worden waren?
