German term

ING-GEN, TE-GE

German to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general)
I think ING stands for engineer. It is a manual of a plant. No context is given. I will really appreciate your help.

@ Anabella If " RG-Rad" stands for a rectifier wheel as explained by Darin
see https://www.proz.com/kudoz/german-to-english/engineering-gen...
the "GE" from will also refer to a generator. This is your context!
Next question: What does "ING" and "TE" can mean in this context?
Any device containing a "Thyristorstellglied" for instance?
Steffen Walter Apr 14, 2019:
Pardon? The entire plant manual is your context (more specifically, terms/sentences/paragraphs used before or after these acronyms). Your "no context" claim is thus baseless. Which type of plant are we talking about here?
Johannes Gleim Apr 13, 2019:
Kontext must exist All items, subject, phrase, organization, other terms and sentences can help to identify the term. Please add this context!
Steffen Walter Apr 13, 2019:
In-house acronyms These seem to be in-house acronyms of company departments best clarified directly with your client.
