French term

responsabilité médicale [numero]

French to English Medical Medical (general) Medical report
I was just wondering how 'responsabilité médicale' followed by a specific number should be translated?

I understand its meaning but not in the context of a number which is the same as that for hospital accommodation.

Any advice welcome, thank you!

Name of hospital? Perhaps if you were to search with the name of the hospital, that would help?

Exactly the same thoughts as BD!

@Asker It seems too short to be a code for a patient, also a patient would be more likely to be identified using their social security code. However, it could be an internal code used by a mutuelle or (with a dash rather than an underscore and omitting the (placeholder) zero), a reference to a clause in a law. The only hits I get for the latter are for Loi de travail 8221-1.

Not sure if it helps but this link explains the legal context. Could the number simply be the identifier for this patient in case of any future claim?

More context You say this is a medical report, but that is rather vague. What is the purpose of the document? Could it by any chance be related to coverage provided by a "mutuelle"?

Patient name

Hébergement: 8221_01
ACCUEIL DES URGENCES
Responsabilité médicale: 8221_01
