Reference: Refs. Reference information: Given the limited context, I have no idea if this fits in your context, but I found a few links referring to "TCs" > treatment costs within the clinical trials area, so I will throw it out there. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3798949/ For each protocol, the treatment cost (TC) difference for the experimental arm(s) was the difference between the experimental arm treatment cost and the SOC cost. For randomised trials, an average treatment cost was attributed to the protocol, by taking into account the number of arms of the trial and randomisation ratio (see Table 1 as an example of how the TC difference was calculated). Table 2: Summary of non-commercial cancer trial protocols and associated per patient TC differences (negative TCs represent TC savings) Treatment costs associated with interventional cancer clinical trials ... pubmedcentralcanada.ca/pmcc/articles/PMC3798949/pdf/bjc2013495a.pdf by E Liniker - 2013 - Cited by 9 - Related articles Sep 24, 2013 - Keywords: excess treatment costs; treatment costs; clinical trial costs; research costs; .... source of excess TC was due to extra hospital day unit delivery time ... associated with excess TCs, as income from the trial conduct was. |
