A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

No soy experto en el tema pero estuve investigando un poquito en Internet y encontré este glosario de la industria textil. (TexWorld.com)
Según la definición que da el mismo Glosario, en este contexto, para los términos que estás consultando "add-on" se trata del **peso (añadido) del material sólido que queda como residuo en la tela/hilos después de la impregnación y secado**.
Ahí mismo dice que el término "pick-up" indica el mismo concepto pero ya no se usa más en la industria.
Te pongo aquí la definición para que tú misma la consideres:
Add-on = The weight of solids left on a given weight of fabric after impregnation and drying.
The percentage add-on is given by (w2 - w1) X 100 / w1 where w1 is the weight of material before impregnation, and w, is the weight of material after impregnation and drying. ***The use of the terms pick-up and wet pick-up to denote the weight of solids taken up by a fabric is to be deprecated.***
Note: Besides impregnation, fabric can also be sprayed, lick-roller coated, or foamed and coated resulting in the deposition of a solute. The add-on is then calculated as above.

Supongo que le llaman "add-on" porque es algo "añadido" al peso original de la tela después de ser impregnada con la parafina o goma.
