A feature article can read like a story, but is nonfiction. This means that you can give personal anecdotes, be somewhat creative, and definitely be informative and descriptive.

A feature story or article is the most important story in a newspaper, magazine, etc. Reportaje especial or crónica are two acceptable terms. As a matter of fact I'd go with "reportaje especial".

: A special or prominent article in a magazine or newspaper. Hence, "reportaje especial" or "crónica especial" or "artículo especial". I would not use "artículo principal" since that really means "main article" and a "feature article" is not necessarily so.
