I found "reportaje especial / crónica especial" in the glossaries.
Do you think that is correct/standard or there are a better match for "feature article" in Spanish.

crónica / reportaje especial

Me parece perfecto.

Feature articles are lengthy and interesting, and can be found in some magazines. They are at least 1,000 words long. You can write up to 2,000 words if you need. A feature article can read like a story, but is nonfiction. This means that you can give personal anecdotes, be somewhat creative, and definitely be informative and descriptive.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Claudia Alvis : Actually Sandra, a feature article is more important than the others, it's not just any 'crónica' or 'artículo'.

Thanks. You're right. My version is missing something.

artículo principal

A feature story or article is the most important story in a newspaper, magazine, etc. Reportaje especial or crónica are two acceptable terms. As a matter of fact I'd go with "reportaje especial".

Gracias Sandra, que tengas un buen fin de semana.
agree Michael Powers (PhD) : A special or prominent article in a magazine or newspaper. Hence, "reportaje especial" or "crónica especial" or "artículo especial". I would not use "artículo principal" since that really means "main article" and a "feature article" is not necessarily so.

Gracias por la aclaración Michael, tienes toda la razón.
