Mahaanyaayavaadee -- is a literal translation, imho, this word is not there in the hindi lexicon :-) . The correct Hindi equivalent of an attorney general would be - Sarkar dwara niyukt Mukhtaar --> सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त मुख्तार.
