The text deals with the legal status of sex workers in India and abroad.
Here is the complete sentence:
"The most recent international instrument on the issue, the Protocol to Suppress, Prevent and Punish the Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, Supplementing the UN Convention Against Transnational Organised Crime, does little to advance this state of affairs."
One of my friends has suggested "abhisamaya" as the possible translation. However, this seems to be a bit difficult for the general readers. Another option might be to transliterate this term.
