Lanolin is extracted from the wax found on sheep's wool. It is an excellent emollient, moisturizer, skin lubricant and protectant, and it's capable of absorbing water equal to 50% of its weight. Iit's a common ingredient in skincare and haircare products.

लैनोलिन को भेड़ के ऊन में पाए जाने वाले मोम से निकाला जाता है. यह एक अतिउत्तम प्रशामक, मॉइश्चराइज़र, और त्वचा स्नेहक है तथा अपने वजन से आधा पानी सोख सकता है. यह त्वचा और बालों की देखभाल संबंधी उत्पादों में आमतौर पर उपयोग होता है.
