Im Materialsicherheitsdatenblatt für "Chromium Boride Diamond Setting Powders " habe ich diese "alloy powders". Es geht bei diesem Kunden immer um irgendwelche chemischen Produkte, handelt sich wohl kaum um Schmuckherstellung - nehme ich mal an -, sondern eher um Industriediamanten? Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, worum es bei dem "surface setting" geht. Was können "Legierungspulver" mit der Oberfläche von Diamanten anstellen???
Kann sich jemand darunter etwas vorstellen?
Vorerst habe ich geschrieben "Legierungspulver für die Oberflächenfixierung von Diamanten". Ich habe weiter nichts gefunden auf Google, schon gar nicht diese genaue "Begriffsfolge".

Die Chromboride können thermisch oder elektrochemisch[1] hergestellt werden und finden Verwendung in Cermets, Bohr- und Schneidwerkzeugen

The diamonds are placed in the powder which is then melted and allowed to solidify. I have used a previous translation of “Chromboridpulver für die Diamanteinstellung”"
Discussion
Mich stört das "surface setting", aber ich nahm auch an, dass das Schleifen der Diamanten gemeint ist.
