people who have "tangled" problems komt amper voor
ook people who are bound to their problems is eigenlijk helemaal niet courant

knotted up
(Preventtive Health Resources) Many smoke and drink, filling their bodies with health robbing poisons. We're knotted up with emotional stress from marital, family, occupational, and financial problems.

to have tied yourself in a knot
it would fit better with the logo than tangled

: Tie yourself in a knot is used for thinking processes (vastlopen met een redenering), not quite the equivalent of 'met jezelf in de knoop liggen'.

after a few days of distilling i think i would use that you can you tangle and untangle (dont think unknot , albeit playful works). So me be a slogan like 'untangle the tangled'

: Dit klinkt vloeiend. 'Knotted up' klinkt iets minder mooi, hoewel niet fout.

Discussion
people who tied/have tied themselves up in knots
people who are knotted up
I forgot
people who are (all) tangled up
Addendum: Agree with Ron that 'hands are tied' is not a good idea. That would, among other things, refer to people with too many responsiblities or other kinds of restraints due to a situation.
tie yourself (up) in knots
to become very upset because you are confused, nervous, or worried
Sharon has tied herself up in knots worrying about her job.
van Dale
tie oneself in / up in / into knots
It's called 'knots'
Example:
They are playing a game. They are playing at not
playing a game. If I show them I see they are, I
shall break the rules and they will punish me.
I must play their game, of not seeing I see the game.
