BAG: Basisregistraties Adressen en Gebouwen
In a slide show about the 'Basisregistraties Adressen en Gebouwen' (Key register for addresses and buildings). I came across the term bronhouder. Not much context:
De bronhouder legt de gegevens vast
(gemeenten voor personen, adressen en gebouwen)

data bank
difficult without context, but I think it could be the meaning.
Bron here could be all the data that are the source of knowledge, ant that are held or kept in a "bank"

original data holder
I think this might do, but I'm not quite sure if this is the right term in your context.

"Systems with guaranteed source attribution are capable of being accurate, current and auditable, and in the context of anonymization-based systems such pedigree pointers enable “selective revelation” … whereby the ** original data holder ** has complete determinism over any revelation (de-cloaking) event based on law and policy."

: Has the advantage of being closer to the Dutch. Is the data holder subtly different from the data owner? I'm not sure, but I would go for this option just to be on the safe side! Some nice hits on: http://www.google.com/search?q="original data holder"
