Dutch term

losroeren

Dutch to English Other Food & Drink
Hello!

I am translating some kitchen recipes and I am not quite sure of all connotations of the verb "losroeren". More than a translation equivalent, I would need to know what exactly this step stands for. Here some context:

Laat koken tot de bouillon geabsorbeerd is.
Roer het geheel even los.
Haal vervolgens de quinoa van het vuur.

Thank you very much in advance!

fluff

Check out any recipe on how to cook quinoa, e.g. https://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-cook-quinoa-cooking-lessons... After the water has been absorbed, you fluff with a fork to separate the grains, though it's usual to leave it off the heat covered for about five minutes before fluffing.
