reserve accelaration
The 'restversnelling' is a measure of how much the available traction capacity (force) exceeds the amount necessary to maintain a certain speed, expressed in terms of acceleration (thus taking into account the mass of the train).
Although 'remaining acceleration' might be used for this, my preference would be 'reserve accelaration'.
