I suspect it is similar to "eigengewicht" which is easy to find the translation for, but I am not sure, and doing some searches on the web also didn't really yield any results, and there is no further explanation/context than the sentence below to help me.

The sentence is:
"Indien in de beschouwde buigtrekzone scheurvorming toelaatbaar is, behoeft de invloed van **eigentemperatuur** en de daaruit volgende eigenspanningen daar niet in rekening te worden gebracht."
