Dutch term
Toevalsonzekerheid
Dutch to English
Tech/Engineering
Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng
Chemistry
Now translated as "random variation", but I cannot find confirmation of this in any of my smart dictionaries.
The direct translation as "chance insecurity" sounds silly in a chemical context.
But as anyone have any other suggestions, if possible including the confirming source.
TIA

Comment: "Thanks, that seems better. Random variation is a statistical technique, which only has a removed relationship to uncertainty. "
