An explanation I don't know whether there is a direct translation of this, as it refers to the Danish tradition of using small cuttings of yew twigs/branches for Christmas decorations or for decoration of gravesites during the winter months, something you don't find to the same extent in English-speaking contexts.

It is to be seen as 'branches' or 'bunches of branches/twigs' as opposed to entire trees.

Maybe 'decorative yew' or 'yew for decoration'?
