Discussion

James A. Walsh Mar 24, 2023:
Inpatient unit? (or "ward") When you stay over at a hospital for whatever treatment, you're called an "in-patient" in English where I come from (Ireland). I'm pretty sure that's what is meant here. And while I think "unit" is a safe bet for the translation of "unité" here, we generally tend to call them a "ward" in English...

In idiomatic English, ignoring the French a bit, I would say

Stay in hospital
Hospital stay
Overnight stay(s)

or slightly more formally

Hospital accommodation
