Fiscal O termo fiscal em inglês tem um sentido muito mais lato que o termo fiscal em português.

Fiscal = In general, having to do with financial matters; i.e. money, taxes, public or private revenues, etc.. Belonging to the fisc, or public treasury. Relating to accounts or management of revenue. Of, or pertaining to the public finances of a government or private finances of business.

Fiscal agent = Generally a bank which collects and disburses money and serves as a depository of private and public funds in behalf of another.

What a fiscal agent is not. Como podem ver da referência em baixo. Uma fiscal agent não é nem representante nem parte das autoridades fiscais. Uma fiscal agent é agente da outra parte num contrato de mandato em que o issuer of securities autoriza a fiscal agent a cumprir certos deveres seus que podem involver a representação do issuer perante as autoridades fiscais.
