French term
DEC
French to English
Tech/Engineering
Telecom(munications)
Installation of fibre optic link
I have very little context. The only place it appears is:
Les DEC ou travaux exceptionnels de désaturation peuvent être identifiés ultérieuriment en cours de production, dans ce cas la date contractuelle initiale sera revue.
[Retyped from a scanned PDF, assume any typos are mine].
It's an agreement with a telecom company to install a fibre optic connection and this section is talking about the due date. From context, a DEC is some sort of problem that can be discovered during installation that may affect the delivery date.

Thanks Alison, that looks very possible. |
I have now received another document from the same customer and the acronym is spelled out. This is indeed correct. Thanks again Alison. |

Could DEC be the English acronym for "travaux exceptional de désaturation"?
