German to English Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks Windshield wiper parts
"Die SRA Düse wird an der Fahrzeugfront im Bereich Scheinwerfermaske verbaut."

This term is a mystery to me. Headlight what? I'd appreciate any help thatt can be given. Thanks in advance.

If you do Google Images All the hits seem to relate to bikes, but it's a surround rather than a cover.

Headlight Housing

After doing a bit of digging and reading the discussion, I have have to the conclusion that the 'Maske' refers to the outer casing in which the light bulb is placed (which comes up as a replacement part fairly often as 'housing).

It is some sort of fairing that goes around a headlight. I found such applications for motorcycles, but haven't come across something similar for cars. "Headlight fairing" maybe?

This is copied from a Mercedes-Benz ad. The English translation of their German version (Scheinwerfermaske) mentions "headlight mask"

I know that about the motorcycle use. But this definitely refers to passenger cars. It is an automotive use, spare parts for automobiles. It's MB.
